HISTORY

 This institute was started in the year 1957. Firstly it was named as Post Graduate Basic Trainning  (P.G.B.T.) College. In the year 1975 it was renamed as Govt. College of Education  “Shaskiya Snatkottar Shiksha Mahavidhyalaya”. It is one of the few colleges where Post Graduate classes (M.Ed.) are running since beginning.
