Learning is all pervasive and also a self active process Child’s  learning starts from his mother’s womb and continues till the end.We train the animals also but we can not educate them. Training is the entire change while education leads to inner change the attitude, perception, understanding.

          We are living in a fast changing world, a changing society, progressing at a galloping speed, impact of science, scientific research, technological development, globalization on our daily life is vibrant and unavoidable. As such changes in the course content, methodology and techniques of teaching are unavoidable if we want to keep pace with the changing aroma of life. Let us concentrate  a field of teacher education .

          Teacher is supposed to motivate the children to have on access to this vast knowledge by using latest techniques, that will require skill as the part of the teacher. Skill of effective communication through latest techniques. So that student grasp the content follow the trend, understand the concept. This means to bring about inner change of the attitudes of teachers towards knowledge, teaching profession and the morality of teachers profession. Accordingly the training colleges have became the college of teacher education.

          This is post graduate college of teacher education. We are qualifying High School and Higher Secondary teacher for the degree of B.Ed, & M.Ed. All the facilities are provided to the teacher fellows such as hostle, Library, Psychology Lab and equipment, craft room, play ground etc.

          We also conduct research work at M.Ed. and Ph.d level. We have also conducted educational researches at three levels short term, mid term and long term, which are conducted by the staff of this college.

   We conducted different educational programmes given by SCERT and R.S.K. Bhopal.

          This College was started in the year of 1957 and now I am glad to mention that this college is celebrating golden jubilee this year. It has lot of planns for future in the field work in schools of teacher education research, methodology, and also in the field of value education the moral development of the students and teacher also.
